Sentinel gear still going to be around?

I guess you don't understand what i'm trying to get at i try and explain.

If you have your Sentinel gear in Beta3 on your 1.0 and it have good stats. Then you can follow that by you can still get it in game somewhere. Maybe F.A.T.E,Dungeon,guildbehest or something else.

A item like Raven Earring now is useless pointless stats. If the Sentinel on you in beta3 have really dumb stats that make no sense and it's not useful at all. Then my guess you no longer have a way of getting said item just like raven earring.

If the items have good stats and useful and no way of getting it in 2.0 then it should be change. Seeing how everyone Raven earring are pointless now. That what i think they are doing and it make the most sense.

If you still think otherwise then come up with something that make more sense then what i just said.

No I get it, it just doesn't make sense. My Imperial Operative Tricorne has very usefull stats for for ARC/BRD. It is no longer obtainable. The Imperial Operative Hat has good WHM stats, it is also no longer obtainable.

Did we every get 100% fact that it's no longer obtainable? there imperial items right? they could drop but F.A.T.E that have Imperial on it. Also looking at the sentinel items it really does have very low stats to the point it's pretty pointless to use.

The Imperial items seem to be very useful still. So i wonder if they still going to be in the game. If they really no longer obtainable. Then i don't understand why the dev team said they not thinking of changing the stats on raven earring and pretty much it's just a item saying i won that fight. But the Imperial items are still as powerful or better then some AF items lol. The only thing that make sense that you can still get it somehow in the game somewhere.

They should also change the imperial item seeing how they more useful if you can't obtain them anymore.

Yes. They were in the list of unobtainable items from 1.0.

Edit: I was thinking of the list of achievements, however there was a forum post in regards to the hats.

IDK, maybe they thought the stats were OP to begin with? Maybe it's as they said that those were meant to be vanity items, and the refresh on them didn't fit that vision.

That does not matter it's the fact that Imperial items items are not also vanity items. They could have easy made stats that fit with ffxiv 2.0 with the raven earring. The point i'm trying to get at if raven is a vanity then should the Imperial items seeing how no new players can get it.

The fact that new players can't get then doesn't make them vanity items. What makes a vanity item is SE saying it's a vanity item.
