8-person parties -- Good? Bad?

8 person party is fine. We also haven't seen the radical changes yet. On top of that, SE said if needed, they would entertain the possibility of multiple parties combined. We may very well see more than FF11's 18-person max limit. Who knows.

Once things start getting in place, then we should demand a need or not for it.

Okay. It's very clear that most people who responded are happy with the lowering from 15 to 8, so I guess this is the way it will be from now on.

Maybe for behests the new system is much better and makes them less of a zergfest. I pretty much stopped doing behests, so it doesn't really matter to me, but I'd be glad if people are happier with behests now.

For me it has always been about running around with friends, and just doing things together. Because of the 8-person cap, last night was the first time I couldn't do leves with my main LS... and I was really sad about it. Take away bonuses after 8 people, reduce rewards, whatever -- but I wish we could at least play together. ><

Im happy they lowered it. at the same time i hate not being able to get into behests as well. i also think they should have waited on 8 person parties till they brung alliances or multiple behest groups at the same location. Also i wanna play with more people in a massive multiplayer game than playing with less. but i do like lowering the group number at the same time...just think they shoulda waited till we could alliance or have multiple behest groups like i said.

Especially if you pounce as soon as the BW pops and your addition to behest fails to load as you are too quick for the server. That really annoys me.

I find it most balanced than when the party max was 15. At least now you can elaborate strategies and not lolkill everything =)
Also it's a good thing for anybody's computer so it doesn't have to elaborate a clusterf*ck of characters and their animations effects.

I also find it funnier, because at least now I have to think in behests before attacking. Before it was like "nah who cares, my other 14 teammates will do the job healing me/killing fast".

Your LS could always do two groups- one of 4 and one of 5. That way everyone gets to do leves
