This is my bike-
it's from the 80's.....

lol that bike is still better than those "bike shape objects" you see in wal-mart and target.
You can update that bike though! That frame still looks like it's in good condition....just watch out for people in pink hoodies and sweatpants and fat boxing coaches.

You're not alone, I have a distressingly large footprint in there these days. I like to envision myself as a calming influence, then I wake up and log in. Still, sometimes I do something to redeem myself, there was a beautiful thread earlier to-er-yesterday where I talked to two brand new players who had never played an MMO before. It's actually pretty fun trying to explain things like MMO social dynamics to someone who has virtually no common language by which to grasp concepts with.

< has never learnt to ride a bike.
Had a real LOL moment just then. Glanced down at the tags and accidentally misread "bacon flavoured goodness" as "bacon flavoured godess" and couldn't for the life of me think why anyone would think Niq was bacon flavoured. Derp

bacon flavored looks who's popular.
------------
never learned to ride a bike?![]()

When I was a child I had inner ear problems. My sister and I both had bikes and mum and dad taught us at the same time. My sister was riding free within a week -.-. I could ride with training wheels on but couldn't get my balance with them off. My dad would hold the bike, let me pedal for a bit, give a push and let go. I would promptly tip over and eat gravel. After about a month, my parents realised something was wrong. They took me to a paedeotrician who looked at my ears and I had a buildup of fluid behind my eardrums that was preventing my sense of balance from calibrating properly. I could walk fine, but anytime my balance required something other than my feet I couldn't get it right.
I had to have grommits (little plastic hourglass shaped things with a hole in the middle) set into my eardrums to drain the fluid. I wasn't allowed to swim with them in (middle of summer in Australia, sheesh all we did as kids was swim) unless i stoppered my ears full of wax otherwise water would go in the wrong way. Eventually the grommits fell out of their own accord when their job was done, but one eardrum didn't repair itself and left a hole. Then I had to have surgery to take a piece of skin from the back of my earlobe and have it stitched over the eardrum to seal it. Still have a little scar behind my ear and when i got my ears pierced, the right one had to be a little crooked or it would pass through the scar.
So in the end it was like a year later that my ears were fixed and I just never learnt to ride the bike. /end childhood story.

@ Dhalmel That image cracked me up XD~!
@Esu ... Oh a my a gawd. You look amaaaaazing~! I can not express the awesome that is that cosplay, I just wanna +dodge those spikes and give you a great big hug~!
@Lucke I would like to do that but I'll have to wait till after school/has job/has money... since I can not sew XD... I think I could make a Thyrus by myself though, and the crown.
Oh um, it would help me out if a few people would please host my images on their own photobuckets for your signatures, as you can see from broken images my bandwidth is long gone for the month XD... I will move a few images over to my imgur

I can sew I teeny bit, I took Home Ec like 15 years ago. Taught me to use a sewing machine...haven't used one since lol. I think WHM would fairly easy. Could be cheap and go with cotton, or use velvet for the accents (red parts).@ Dhalmel That image cracked me up XD~!

Oh hell, why Am I talking about sewing? I'm no weaver!
Befriend a jeweler to make a crown, or be cheapo and use like, plastic or something lol.

mmm... If I were to cosplay it would be done right. The body piece would need to be made of something more plush, but strong enough to lace the corset without DoT... the A line would need to be cut in the pattern correctly, I'd probably need a petticoat to keep it out, but since the skirts can now be seen under the bodies (eg. the red rse skirt can be seen under a cotton dalmatica now) it should remain cannon. Little things like the fleur de lis would not be forgotten. Myranda knows what I am talking about lolI can sew I teeny bit, I took Home Ec like 15 years ago. I'm short and silver in an anime apparently... ... I am Daenerys Targaryen! ...maybe that's where the bacon smell came from.
