New Holiday Event Idea. The Fall of Dalamud/Meteor Remembrance Day.

The fall of Dalamud/Meteor and the events that followed were a big part of the lore in Final Fantasy XIV.

I was thinking it would be very cool if there was a holiday event every year to celebrate a day of remembering for those events.

I'm a big fan of the special holiday events in the game but most of them are based on real world holidays. It would be cool to see more holiday events based on Eorzean lore.
What do you guys think?

Not only is it cause for an in-game event/holiday, but it's true to the lore and, so, internally consistent as well.

Actually, this happens, not as a holiday event but as part of the early storyline. The first time you're able to leave the region you start in you are tasked to help arrange a rememberance by delivering a proposal for one to the other two nations (other than the one you started in).
