Can my level 50 start in a new server?

It will not be possible because dominating the economy is what SE wants to avoid. You can switch your old character to another legacy server though.

I just would like to keep my level and maybe some of my equipments, but I won't be bringing any of my other items, I don't want to dominate the economy. I just want to keep my level and the equipments I have earned.

It does not matter if you not going to dominate the economy. Your still level 50 i would say make a second char play on that world then once they allow pay a fee to switch char to other world. Pay the Fee and get your old char to that world that the only thing you can do.

They wont allow you to switch to that world too much later on in the game life. Maybe 6+months to 1year
