I've only seen one gaming setup for a gaming couple and it still boggles my mind how they do it. (The gaming together I mean).

Is you laptop just getting on in years?

Neither was mine before ffxiv. I ended up learning how to shop for graphic cards, and cutting a few plastic bits to make sure it fits.

I was looking for a new "project" a few weeks ago, after reaching the half way mark on my 3rd Borderlands 2 run with my brothers. We've finished Diablo 3 on inferno several times already, and i got tired of playing WoW on my own (since i got less play time then my brothers and they are both raiders).

After searching for a new game we all of us would like to play, we've settled for Guild Wars 2. I must say, i find it rather tough to solo in Guild Wars 2. I tend to die a lot when i solo. Hehehe

Tera was an option, but my brothers didn't really want to play an action mmo like Tera (and Guild Wars 2 was cheaper too) (^_^; )

Since quite a few people here play Tera, i was wondering if there are also people in here who play Guild Wars 2 (till ARR is released).

My Guild Wars 2 characters a located on the Whiteside Ridge server. In case anyone is interested. (^_~ )

You live Jacksonville FL? I'm from Jacksonville AL hahaha. I live way up north here in ND now though. Miami is a ways away from here.

It's good to try out new games every once in awhile. It keeps you grounded and reminds you that you never have to settle for anything less. I for one am teeming with excitement and can barely control my nerves as I wait impatiently for ARR. My facebook keeps popping up with new images from the game and I can vividly remember my various exploits and epic failures.

I am happy to say I have the same feeling now as I did when FFXIV was first announced as a tech demo. Woot!

Speaking of tech demos. I will assume everyone has seen the ARR trailer by now. There is a Gladiator in it using a shield specifically for mages. Not that he shouldn't be able to. But it's still silly. I also like the demo for Versus. I always wondered how we'd be able to use those swords like that. Then I thought maybe he was the bad guy. Scary.

What with FFXIII coming to a close with the last installment. I do hope they bring out versus next. Or perhaps import Agito to english. aye SE, you make too many awesome games and then you don't know what to do with them. I wonder if they will hold any more contests after ARR is released. Honestly, I never went to these forums until after server shutdown. I would rather be playing then discussing. I guess it's a good thing then, since I got to meet so many great people. Let's keep in touch.

I am being all sentimental all of a sudden. I used to play FFXI with Nii, 4 years I think. Around about that. We never did too much endgame stuff. Dynamis was our greatest achievement and still we never went to dream world or anything major in White Gate. We tried our best though and had alot of fun meeting new people and made great friends. When ARR is released. Let's not hold back. Let's do stuff so we never look back and regret. I look forward to partying with everyone.

As a final note. I probably could have posted all of this in one post. But it's fun(ner?) this way. I am running out of things to write however. I suppose I should make a mention about the Tag Cloud....

There are alot of memories just inside it alot. Like our personal time capsule. If any passerby were to just look at that. They would know alot about our little community here. Hakuna Matata stands out for me. It means "No Worries." If you didn't already know. But if you didn't. No worries. ;p. I just added a new one.
