Bahamut and Deathwing are both fire types.
^Would beat both of them. Hands down.

-Thank You Digirotta
i think mega/giga/teraflare has generally been considered non-elemental, no? ;3
The burden of proof lies on you. You're the one saying that all of Hydaelyn was set on fire by Megaflare, when we only saw it hit near Limsa Lominsa, Mor Dhona and Coerthas. Pieces of Dalamud seem to do more damage, and we saw how little those actually did in the cutscenes in Coerthas for, I believe, Living on a Prayer.
I'd also take the End of an Era trailer with a grain of salt, seeing as the battle of Mor Dhona doesn't show Midgardsormr, the huge dragon that was wrapped around the Garlean airship. It was just a cinematic trailer meant to give us an awesome conclusion to 1.0, not be a 100% representation of the world.
How do you know what happened after we were teleported?
I must of missed something here.
I am truthfully curious and would like to know, the detailed and true story of what happened.
Do you have a link to something maybe?
I don't feel very burdened. The burden of proof lies on you. Some of us are just trying to have fun with this, while others like you are too busy jumping down peoples throats.
Thank you for misquoting me though.
I said and I quote "I assume it was covered by fire"..
I was asking you nicely but you choose to come back with an immature tone..
Disregard my honest question then.
I wasn't trying to be rude.. I just wanted to know..
Taught me not to talk to you like an adult, so thank you..
Anyway from the sound of your response I can tell you have little to no idea.
You were NOT there DURING mega flare..
You are ONLY talking about what you saw BEFORE everyone was teleported..
You do understand that those little fire balls he shot at first are NOT megaflare right?
Because it doesn't sound like you do..
So your logic boils down to "I'd take it with a grain of salt".
Yea that's some serious background checking you did there..
I am 100% sure you are right..lol..
So far the only one who has given some serious insight to this is Fusional.
Quoting the devs and what not. That is what I wanted to know. What REALLY happened.
I could care less about proving anything..

The battle between the grand companies and the empire didn't take place in Mor Dhona, but along the outskirts of Mor Dhona. So the airship/dragon corpse's visibility isn't a given, especially given all the other things going on at much closer range (Meteological changes, airships, the combat along the flats, Bahamut's rampage...)

Here's the thing, Deathwing is a dragon, Bahamut is not. Bahamut is none elemental... He is strong against all element's, and has weakness to none. His attack's are none elemental as well. While Deathwing is fire/earth based. In all Final Fantasy game's Bahamut resist's all elemental attack's, and ignores all elemental defenses when attacking. Bahamut has been from the start to the end of all creation, while anything else in comparison is a flash and gone.
No he is a dragon-type pokemon, my pokedex says so so there.
He's not only weak against ice but he's also weak against other dragon-types.
