Great information! It's good to know that VoIP is not required most of time but I'd like to point out this:

however you are not required to talk, just listen.

So what can deaf players like me do? I know it may be difficult to discuss until we try the full content first. I am sure SE already know about it that's why they made some special features (example: Pop icons above of mod heads to let players know what to do next.) I know it's important for deaf players to let leaders know they are deaf and need some assistance. Maybe it would be helpful if you select one of your members to assist me so I can follow where she/he goes. While they are doing something I am sure they can learn something different than what hearing players can do. Make some macros would be helpful and you don't have to type something and make more informations for them to review before start. That's what I want to know. ^^

You know, call me airheaded but I never thought about that o-0 Sorry to hear that about your hearing, and I apologize for being so inconsiderate. In cases such as yours, I'm sure we can easily arrange something. Something like you suggested is completely within reason; we could have someone send you videos and other links to help you learn what it is you need to do, and I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities available to us to help let you know is going on and what you need to do. I've had plenty of times I've been clueless and have had to follow someone around that knows what they're doing so I didn't mess up, plus you can consider the fact that after a while, a lot of content will not require heavy communication once everyone knows what they're doing, so it shouldn't be any trouble at all ^_^

I'm also going to keep updating the about us page, and I'll be sure to include a section about players with disabilities so they aren't discouraged!

I almost forgot to mention that several of our tanks will be developing macros for target marking, such as marking their primary targets, their next targets, and targets that need to be dealt with separately (such as dangerous mages) so there will already be a few tanks I'm sure you'd work great with.

You don't need to say sorry to players for being deaf. They have heard enough of that in real life and really don't care. lol
At least we have our own language though. ^_^
