I just don't really like the art style of the topic creator. It just doesn't look good to me. That doesn't make me a troll.

Topic: Who was your favourite NPC in 1.xx and why?

Hildebrand with his trusty sidekick. They always made me smile from ear to ear. Tears from laughter streamed down my face when i saw Hildebrand's face after the dream, when he was disguised as a gang member or when he was launched towards Dalamud. (^_^ )-b Good times! I want to see more of them in ARR.

Topic: If you could hug one npc who would it be?

Mother Miounne from the Carline Canopy (Adventurers' Guild) over in Gridania. When i saw her at first, i though of her as a stern lady, but once i got to know her a little better she really gave that kind and motherly aura. I would jump over the counter and give her a big hug and say "Thank you for your guidance!" (^_^ )

Topic: What inspired your character name?

When i was playing FFXI, i created my characters using Japanese names. But, for FFXIV i wanted something different. Something that would relate more to the city-state i would join once i've created my character. Since i'm a big fan of forests and the entire feel of Gridania attracted my attention, i decided to go for a more Celtic approach. I wanted choose a surname i could use for all my characters and after browsing several Celtic names websites, i came across Aldora.

The second part was to select which race and gender i would like to play. I've been playing as a Hume in FFXI for 6 years and while making a character in the character creation, i "fell in love" with the Mi'qote. Since we only had female Miq'otes, the choice narrowed down to a handfull of names from which i selected Caitlyn because it sounded closest to "Cat" and had a nice ring to it. Hench forth, Caitlyn Aldora was born into Gridania. (^_^ )

Topic: Which job did you like to play the most?

I loved playing a Bard, Red Mage, Summoner and Dancer in FFXI. But since FFXIV didn't have those "jobs", i decided to start out as an Archer when 1.0 was released. After a while, the arrows were starting to get expensive for me, so i switched to Conjurer because I thought that if i were to play a different class then i would be best suited as a support player in FFXIV. I loved playing the healer, but when the jobs were introduced and i unlocked both White Mage and Bard, i rekindled with my archer but this time filling in a supporting role in the party.

So, my favored class would be the Bard, but... I can't wait to get my hands on the Summoner! \(>_< )/ Might that be my new favorite class/job?

Topic: Whats the one thing you guys want most for Niq to doodle next? O.o

Hmmm... I would like to see Nique do a doodle/drawing about a group of Bards (me, rogue, etc) giving a concert to Nique in the Mih Khetto's Amphitheater located in Gridania. (^_^ )

Well... I would say Carbuncle... But, since Carbuncle will be Arcanist only (at least that's what i understood), i'd go for Phoenix. (^_^ )

New Topic: The Arcanist is the first class to be officially announced as a new class in ARR, with the Summoner as it's job. Which class would you like to see next and which job(s) should it branch into?
