Your Biggest Regret in 1.0

Not leveling more crafts, I only have GSM and CRP to 50. But it is not so bad because I think I will spend a lot of time on Botany and CRP

I wanted to beak Darnus Hard, but never got to beat it. I wanted those earrings

Two regrets.

The lesser of the two would be the fact that I didn't know you get those earrings from Darnus (Hardmode). I didn't learn about them until after the final save. So didn't even bother.

The greater of those regrets would be rooted way back in the beginning of 1.0...when it was unclear (and just frankly never told) that we were supposed to reactivate the beta service account, and not make a new account. Had I reactivated my beta account, I would have received my in game items like the onion helm, asuran armguards, etc. Since they were all registered to the deactivated beta account, I never received them, and the codes were used up. I contacted support, and they gave me a new code.........for the one thing that DID work...which was the Certificate. (Which I should have just used anyway so I could have had two of them )...

To this day I regret that I didn't reactivate the beta account from 1.0. If I did, I would only have one service account on my square enix account (instead of having Final Fantasy XIV 1 (CANCELED) and Final FantasyXIV 2 on my service account page...it's quite ugly). I would also not have had an issue with the beta for ARR....I got my legacy invite, but there's something wrong with my account and it thinks my service account doesn't exist or whatever because of the canceled one. So I can't get into beta until Support fixes it.....and they don't have an ETA...they just said they'd contact me when it's fixed......




That is my regret of Final Fantasy XIV 1.0.

Not recording more ingame battles like Darnus, Garuda, etc. Watching Youtube fights just isn't the same :|

Oh me too, and I tried to record all the cutscenes so I'd have my own personal character in the ORIGINAL versions of the scenes. Alas....it was just too laggy and impossible.

I hoarded too many items that will probably become obsolete in ARR... oh well.

I don't think I have any, I wanted to get some GC weapons and a Chocobo mask, and I got them, also I finished all the storylines and all.

I don't worry about not leveling up crafting or gathering as it seems it will be much better in ARR, and well, I guess there will be ways to get Darklight gear and better equipment in ARR with no need of time attack runs so... all the better!
