Advice on a New Gaming Laptop

**After talking it out with everyone changed my mind and will hopefully build my first SUPER computer

After burning my motherboard up on my last laptop (Sony Vaio). Now just using it for low stress work till it finally blows up. That means I need a new computer to play ARR. I have done a lot of looking and research and I know that building my own rig would be best for what I want but would like a laptop rather then a desktop that will run ARR perfectly.

It shows that Alienware is rated number 1; yet I dislike them along with Radeon cards. So I went with the MSI GT70 now the only issue is what model I really should get. So I am asking you "the community" for advice.

In general the biggest bottleneck in a laptop is always going to be the GPU. So buy the one with the best GPU.

really sucks you want to spend all that money on a laptop when you could build a monster of a desktop for a couple hundred less.

Ive never liked laptops for gaming simply because overheating issues. When your playing a mmo for long periods of time its going to get hot. Heat is not good =P

but if you're going to do it, do it right

The 256 will offer way more room to play with as you will want your top 1 or 2 games on it as well as the operating system.

In general the biggest bottleneck in a laptop is always going to be the GPU. So buy the one with the best GPU.

They both have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M cards and both have 4GB GDDR5 (dedicated) for video only real difference in the two is the RPM and HD size one is 7200 RPM with 1006GB HD and other is 5400 RPM and 1TB; 128GB HD both have SSD's as well

I wouldn't mind building one eventually just time issue ~_~: I take care of my grandma every day 24/7 so finding the time to buy parts and put it all together then figuring out all the BEST parts would be the issue so figured it would be easy to just buy a laptop ~_~;

ya, i hate laptop because of this. but im happy with my current laptop, Asus G series, the internal cooling is really good, + i have my Coolermaster pad, which make it a really monster laptop

picking out the parts is super easy, building it will take you about an hour 1/2 (if its your first time building), then installing windows/drivers/updates another 2 hours (but installing windows only takes about an hour) the updates can happen over time.
