My guess would be Thursday-Friday, Prime time of availability for most gamers, prime download time, the weekend to devote to play and it would be a prime ramp up time. Monday morning the devs come in to see the servers loaded.![]()
Well there should be a lot going on between this week and next week. Friday we have the Live Letter, should have our beta invites by then. Should be getting the Benchmark and beta access next Monday, and the release of all the info from the media tour.
I don't know why you guys are making such a big deal about receiving the beta invite as soon as possible. We're not going to be able to play until the 25th anyway, until then when we receive them is sort of moot.
Just seeing it on my account is... an HONOR!! Just anxious to see the words "Final Fantasy XIV ARR- Beta" Link to my account. It's the little kid inside me. ^.^
they don't want us to have the Game downloaded soo early, soo maybe latter today they posted the benchmark soo we can be prepared for porno weekend and this will add some fun to the forums people posting they results
I think we're just checking in here to confirm we aren't the only ones who haven't received an email yet. ^^ Otherwise, not really pressed.
Except that the beta starts on the 25th, which is a monday, and phase 1 will be limited to certain hours on certain days so devs can focus on testing certain aspects when lots of people are online. Servers won't be up 24/7 until phase 2 probably.
Downloads people, you still have to DOWNLOAD the beta. that takes time. for some mins, others HOURS.
