I'm in the process of saving for a complete custom build, but this is what I'm currently looking at:
MB: Asus P8Z77-V Pro (Intel Z77 ATX)
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K (3.4GHz) QUAD CORE 77W
RAM: Kingston 16GB DDR3-1600 (2x8GB)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB
I don't plan to update my specs, can't afford it at this time, but I thought it would be okay because they said ARR should be easier to run than FF14; one of their main goal is to reach wider audiences. Is this true? Or Should I be upgrading?
As Yoshi-P said before, If your computer worked for FFXIV 1.0, It will 100% work for FFXIV ARR ( with better performance).
Currently sporting:
Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80Ghz
8GB DDR3 RAM
Radeon HD7970
Damn... that's a beast of a computer.. I should at least upgrade my GPU to what you have.. However, HD Radeon 6770 is good enough for the time being. =)Current Specs:

Why would you upgrade? It's shouldn't be as demanding as the previous game.
