    I know this isn't relevant to the topic at hand and I know I am an awful human being for posting this, but what anime does this gif belong to? It looks vaguely interesting. I might want to check it out.
    Nisemonogatari or its sequel/prequel.

    Prequel. It's from Bakemonogatari, which actually came out first. Chronologically it goes Nekomonogatari -> Bakemonogatari -> Nisemonogatari, for the anime at least. There are a tonne of -monogatari light novels yet to be made into animes yet.
