Reminds me a little bit of Twilight Town meets Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts I/II (not sure why lol, its only bits a pieces- but the town came to mind while listening to the Limsa track)

Anyway, it sounds good~!

Though, I never really spent much time in Limsa so I cant make any comparisons.

A day after listening to it, I still have the La Noscea theme looping in my head, and I like it! Such a jolly, upbeat, 'let's go for an adventure' track.

I guess I'm a total killjoy but I prefer "The Navigator's glory" for the said reason that it sounds much more like a mighty navy nation... It was a proud, musically very poetic piece and besides its powerful passages it also had more subtle and soft parts.
The new verson just doesn't really carry this character for me. I remember an interview where Yoshi said that he wanted a strong theme for ARR that should sound "manly" (something like despite having a female admiral he wanted a rather manly theme or something) but this rather reminded me of a relaxed, laid back city (like some already said). Rather careless than heroic or whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, the tune itself is awesome. But it just doesn't reflect Limsa to me.
Specially the Distant World Navigator's Glory is beyond epic and characterises Limsa neatly...
It's a shame that it is replaced only to have something new. With some exceptions the music was quite good in 1.0. They could have rearranged it maybe or spiced it up, at least those tracks that were really good.
But I guess that's just my opinion...

Sounds less pirate/navy like, not sure if like. It does sound good though, not fit for LL though.
