I intend to carry on with the same character choices though i will remodel him a bit if i get the option... I like the idea of a male Miqote but he will probably end up being a mule.

I primarily played as Thaumaturge then stayed as Black Mage once i reached 50

Yes i did and i really enjoyed the main storyline arc.

I originally started in Gridania but on my firststep into the shroud i saw the map and rerolled and chose Uldah instead.

I think i was on my 4th....i levelled BLM,WHM,BRD,WAR in that order....i was in the process of slowing doing the remaining melee classes, id just opened DRG and MNK after playing both to 30...GLD i hated so its trailing behind...
