Let's break this down.

We note here a change to the title screen. This change is the new BETA logo.

But the next sentence suggests that there has been more than one change made to the TITLE SCREEN. Pay attention to the next few words:

The BGM has been changed as well

Again, look closely:

as well

As well means, "in additon to" or "also". Essentially, "In addition to the ALPHA logo being changed to the BETA logo on the title screen, the BGM music OF THE TITLE SCREEN has been changed". This is what the sentence breaks down to. Thus we can safely conclude that the BGM changed and noted here is none other than the ear-shattering BGM music of the TITLE SCREEN previous.

That isn't to argue that other BGM haven't been altered, but that Yoshi was referring to the title screen BGM specifically in this post.

This was a major complaint by players and so it makes sense that they would change it.
