Figureprints are purely for display.
As far as to how they managed to get that many items, WoW's base models for gear are ridiculously simple in shape and have low polygon counts. The more demanding items in terms of design are the shoulders, which are intentionally more complex.
That said, I could go for a joint effort by SE and Figureprints. XIV just needs to get a massive playerbase to justify such a move.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

My wife would have my head but I think I would pay up to like 200 bucks for something like this. It would be worth it in my opinion to have something commemorative of my Character and my time in Eorzea.
Who knows maybe we will see something like this in the future once SE can focus more on cosmetics and extras and less on the core development and relaunch of the game.

Just want to wave to Yeani!

I got those!
But not all of 'em, 'cause I just wanted the Shantotto one. I see you're missing the Ark Angel TT (which is the other one I have). That one's a pain 'cause it's mounted on a little pole that sticks into the middle of his back so he can float. Gotta be carefully balanced.

I know someone who got their Draenei shaman character on FigurePrints. He seemed disappointed with out it turned out though said her tail didn't look right.
That site is crazy expensive too.

It would be ridiculously expensive to manufacture one of a kind figurines, You be better off building a 3D printer, ripping the character model data, and usint it to print one yourself.
