Yoshi-P's stance on the matter is very clear to me that's not been denial ...if he was all for it he shouldn't need feedback at all ...but at the end of the day he is just a very fair man

No, he stated that since it's a touchy subject, there will be only opposite sex marriage at start but he wanted our feedback on the matter.

I will state again,

He did not:
A.) State his preference on the matter.
B.) Say anything about his companies stance on the matter.
C.) Say that this was a permanent choice.

He did however:
A.) Say that it will be this way at launch.
B.) That it was because it's a touchy subject.
C.) Ask us for feedback on the matter.

I have evidence of the opposite.

If this is just about the marriage thing, I can understand why it would not be added for political reasons, but not adding same sex marriage does not negate the fact that they value our input.

Simple...
Make a Poll, "With, Against, Don't Care (not gonna get married)", BUT
Those who choose to disagree with same sex marriage, will only be able to marry to different sex gender in game.
and those who choose to agree with same sex marriage, will only be able to marry same sex gender in game.
And those who choose "Don't Care", will not be able to get married at all in game.
(Every one who vote is linked with his FFXIV account, so it is easy to know who picked what and implement it in the game) lol.

Then see how many people will actually want same sex marriage... you would be surprised the people who liked the "Same sex marriage" post will disappear because they don't really want to marry same sex in game and choose to like the post just because they don't really care. (But when they will be forced to same sex marriage, then they will care) lol..

Then take the opposite-sex vs same-sex numbers and see who win.
It might be harsh, but it is the truth.

(This post is not about people wanting to support the implementation of the system or not, but more of to show how many people really that don't care about same-sex, but chose same-sex just to have some laughs)
