As for the beta test, we’re hoping to start beta phase one at the end of January or the beginning of February. We’ve already begun work, so we ask for your patience in the meantime.

wasn't there where he told too that there would be 2 months between alpha and beta? If I recall correctly alpha should have ended this week, so we are under another delay. I'm still thinking it will be around mid/end of feb.

Just like the Alpha was confirmed for End of September to early October and Beta confirmed for November by a european rep.

There's a difference between Getting a Client ready, and already have everything prepared to make "Adjustments" for the beta.

Alpha was more like: " we are building an Alpha client from scratch"
Beta is probably going to be like: " We are changing somethings around in the Alpha client.

It's understandable to think it will be delayed because of major bugs and stuff like that. But that's what the Alpha test was for for stress testing and finding some critical bugs. "Adjustments" to the client that's already there, should only take a month- 2 tops.

Edit: Before Alpha, there was no testing, not client, no feedback about alpha, just them building it from Scratch, and getting Alpha in the best shape possible. That was understandable when they delayed it. But in Beta, they have:

A) Alpha Client to build upon ( that really didn't have any real issues according to Yoshi-P and some people)

B) They have Alpha Feedback to make Beta awesome

So I would be surprised if they were actually delayed, delays do happen but I feel this one is more "Doable".
