How is it that SE is allowing players with multiple accounts get invites. In turn, excludes those who want to play & test Alpha. People with inactive accounts get invites too. In which, I found this statement on Alpha tester agreement " Currently playing FINAL FANTASY XIV." Community team is lacking in communication with its forums. This is the most saddening out of all the issues going on, Ignoring your player base.

I seriously doubt the credibility of this statement, being that they select testers based on certain criteria, ie PC specs, playtime, other games played, and any other question asked on the Alpha application.

I very much doubt anyone who didn't apply and had an active account at the time got in, other then those who were at events and got codes to get in.
