

The first part of that isn't quite true. Depending on your ablility to find the lowest prices for materials and create a profit for the finished item, you don't really have a need for farming.Both. For starters, to be self sufficient you need to farm to craft anyway. But, just like in the real, game economies fluctuate and what can make money today may not do as well tomorrow. Sometimes you might find selling the materials is better profit than using them to make and sell items. Sometimes the opposite is true.
Better to be on top of it from all angles so that when it does change you can easily adapt.
