J/k. Quite a few people certainly do go south for the deals, especially people nearish the border. I personally don't and most likely never will because it's too much of a hassle. That's why our retailers are attempting to get in on the deals, to get people to buy here instead. But their attempts so far are a joke. "Black Friday Special!!! $10 off a TV!"
