1/50 IS NOT 100%, you, sir, fail
"Us heroes, we have so much to do."
gill is too easily obtained. prices are insanely inflated from the start. $10,000 for an npc starter axe? why can't it be $1,000 like in ffxi? oh right, stupid inflation due to easy money thrown at you in quests.LOL
I'd love for him to explain this too. I suppose this dude wants a socialist economy because apperantly inflation is rampant and thus things are expensive... boo hoo
I'd love to see him present an alternative... I won't be expecting much though, but I can stand for a few good laughs.
there is no point crafting and selling lower level gear since everyone will be running around with gear of higher levels that look nicer. gear penalties due to rank is negligable since the damn game is so easy already. the ability to play dress up doll with your man cats because you can wear any item at any level further undermines crafting.
the lack of an AH prevents price discovery. no one knows what to set a price for anything since they don't have references or history data. it hurts crafters. the fact that the game does everything it can to forbid active socializing by not having a large central market structure (AKA; AUCTION HOUSE!) that players can gather around to trade at further undermines a healthy and active economy.
it should be a challenge and a timesink to accumulate wealth and gear. it is the fundemental goal that every player seeks when playing an mmo. instead all we got is a system that has no avenue to TAKE your money. you don't need to buy spells, for example. in the end you just end up hoarding your cash because there is hardly anything to spend it on.....but i guess this is a good thing for you casual players because god forbid anything that slows down your progression to a meaningless end game level!
i guess today's kids want nothing more than to race to end game and anything challenging be it economic, time-based, or sandbox element, is a bad bad thing! how pathetic!
did this answer satisfy your curiosity? would you like me to explain in detail all my other VALID POINTS?
no use replying to this guy all you will do is end up feeding the troll.
The game was dying the day of release. You can't say Yoshi and team work sucks because they haven't even changed the core of the game yet.
It's official it's time to take a break from this forum of ignorance. "LETS GET OUR HOPES UP FOR EPIC GAME CHANGING CONTENT EVEN THOUGH THE GAMES CORE IS STILL INCOMPLETE!" smfh Hopefully when I come back people will be banned or will rage quit.
Let's also expect Yoshi and team to be gods of development and push out work mere mortal would take years to do!" /end sarcasm
Ignorance is bliss

And Tanaka would do any better? Most of the people that complain about Yoshida don't realize the other stuff they also complain about would more than likely never be fixed if he was still running the show.
Further proof that you have absolutely NO idea what you're talking about, due to the fact that you haven't even played the game. And you're at 1,655 posts? That's ridiculous.having character collision is a bad thing. people can use it to grief others. Its was a huge issue in dcuo when people would block hallways or take hostage players. pretty much trap them in hallways.
If you ever played ffxi you will not enoy CC if it had it. There is always a wall of players blocking mog houses.
even ffxi had buffers from signet (def + etc) IS had isp buffers of all sorts even a exp reductions on death same sad wings with their signet thing.
players created the camps not the game.
The way character collision used to work is, another player/mob would stop you for about a second before you could simply pass through them. No griefing possible. End of story.
I wouldn't simply dismiss Argh's input and deter anyone from discussing his points--"feeding the troll"--because they're not in favor of the game's comeback. He does address many problems that make the game less desirable to a lot of players (including myself, but I'm not making a biased reply).
Referencing FFXI is constructive because it was a fairly successful mmorpg. This does not imply that we'd simply like a clone of FFXI, but rather we'd like to see some of the predecessor's stronger elements in this game.
I would, however, try to understand the amount of work the new development team has to take-on and the complexity involved. Maybe some of the work is being done behind closed doors (i.e. not implemented in patches until finished), who knows what the game will look like months from now?
I think the only sensible thing to do right now is either 1) play the game for what it is in its current state and try to enjoy it, or 2) play something else but keep-up on these forums expecting, or at least hoping, that they will turn this game around!![]()

this yoshida guy had over 4 months to change at least one core element but he did nothing but waste time with polls and flights around the globe promoting interviews and his hairstyle. in the 4+ months the game went from casually-easy game to stupidly-easy game.
[QUOTE=Argh;90282]Yep he wasting his time tanaka would have been better if he had more time. He not doing a bad job but still 4+month and all we got is casual and more and more casual events. For a person who play a pretty hardcore game he seem full of it and casual all together. The game was dying the day of release. You also can't say their work sucks because they haven't even changed the core of the game yet.
