    We already went over this and it really comes down to personal preference. Being a game, which is a computer program, determining what is what (emote or whatever) is a matter of arbitrary machine code. At this point we are going around in circles unless something new can be brought up.

    Is it a mountain or a molehill? It isn't like it is one thing or another and we could perform a scientific experiment to prove it. What is a mole hill to one person is a mountain to another when we are talking about personal preferences. People are different after all and playing an MMO requires learning to get along with others, which includes respecting that they have their own opinion to certain degree.

    I am going to assume that the graphics settings were at minimum. With that said the actual areas look great. Glad to be rid of those restrictive paths that were in Ver 1.0. I hope the mini map is adjustable.

    The new Shroud seems a real forest indeed, very nice. I love the river you can pass on walk in the middle of central one. The sound effects seem superb.

    Dunno if only the alpha and still missing but hope devs will put also some visible 'normal life' in the enviroment (like butterflies, birds flying around, crickets, etc.). In the video i heard crow sounds, it would be nice to actually see it/them passing in the sky.

    There were features like ambient occlusion enabled and it looked exactly like the Live Letter where YoshiP said the settings were maxed out. I'm hoping that some fort of global illumination pass has been disabled and that is why the background looks washed out *fingers crossed*

    What is with the "exploration police" in this community? If players want to explore then they will explore. If they do not want to explore then they won't. It's not up to you. It's absurd the hills you guys pick to die on.

    Btw, according to the gamewatch interview, motion blending animations are not present in alpha. Beta will introduce some, but not all of them, so the animations not being final is confirmed.
