most of everything is trash now. all the same game with different themes. i like planetside 2 though

PSO2 is the only thing im waiting for hope its like PSO when it comes to addiction and stays away from the PSU formula.

PSO2 isn't in beta, it was released in japan on july 4th. Anyway, it's my top mmo atm and only game that keeps my interest and it's been that way for months. And that's saying a lot considering I get bored with almost everything fast, it's definitely lived up to the PSO name unlike universe, although it takes elements from that game they did it right this time. This is one of the ruins bosses that was released just a week or two ago if you're interested in seeing how the gameplay is, there's a few more in my channel also.

I haven't been keeping up with PSO2's updates and stuff as much as I should have... judging from that video, it looks like the English patch still works (if it's the same one I'm thinking of)? Also, what features would I be missing out on if I wanted to go completely F2P on this game?

Playing free you can't sell on the auction house or use your room(although you can use your team room). That's pretty much it but the difference between having your own shop and not having one is like day and night when it comes to making any decent money since they nerfed the npc selling to get rid of inflation on market(which by some miracle actually worked). You can't make very much without a market unless you do time attack mode but as long as your character isn't female(extremely overpriced clothes) you can pretty much afford anything you want besides new release gear. And yeah, the english patch gets updated literally a few hours after every large upgrade that stops it from working.

I played it briefly but couldn't keep up with playing a game where I can't read anything at all lol. It's a lot better than PSU if that's what you mean It definitely feels more like a proper sequel to PSO.

None of MMOs I am looking forward to play except PSO2 which it's free to play. PSO was my first online RPG I have ever played. I can't say I will enjoy PSO2 in Japanese so I have to wait until it hits NA. For now, I am waiting for my friend to give me my Tales of Graces f back he has been borrowing it from me for more than an half year. So I can replay it while waiting for 2.0. :P
