Where did Atomos come from? That much aether does not go unnoticed least of all by primals.

Something tells me that cutscene is not over. I think there is a longer version that answers it. I would love to see primals do this.

I can't see Odin honestly defeating him. They made Bahamut too bad ass to have a challenger. It would have to be many, or even have Diablos dropping in for a visit (kidding of course).

Yeah I can't see Odin having much of an effect on him either..nor would I see why he'd be vested in this battle at all, much like Atomos. From what I saw, Atomos was just late to the party, sucking up Aetheryte (whether or not he was channeling it up to Bahamut is another story), and just being a general annoyance. In XI, he was equally neutral; that is he didn't differentiate between "good" and "bad" when sucking people up into his void.

On another note, there is a legit resemblance between Odin of XI and the facial armor of Darnus and Baelsar.


Could the Garleans have been the ones to summon him? o_O Maybe Baelsar himself? He was against the whole "cleansing" idea from the start.

I just watched the first trailer we got (Fate of...) and Odin is being shown in an area with caves and trees. I don't think he is anywhere near Camp Brittlebark when Bahamut arrives. Don't count on Odin to be involved.

Yeah he's shown in the more "peaceful" time which is why I didn't count him initially. But he IS around..which means SE has plans for him...whether he already played a part or will play a part remains to be seen though.

Ishgard wont be open at the launch of ARR. We know the game is set 5 years in the future but how we get there isn't quite clear, though I imagine it has something to do with the gods.

Yes, but if you note the sigil in the circle of Louisoix's spell, it is the mark of Althyk, not Thaliak.
