All the Roegadyn names have a very Welsh/Irish/Scotish/Germanic/Tribes sounding names. Basically all the Seafairers.
Elezen have all French Origin Names.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
*sob*
what's the point of having female Rog's if all they are gonna look like is human females with Rog heads and duskwight skin coloring?
there is something obviously wrong when people can't innately tell the difference between the female version of of your "beastly" race from a female elf. forgive my skepticism but whats next, male Miqo'te with breasts?
Que Lehko, the very effeminate looking FFXI male Mithra.*sob*

If you hadn't noticed, Seawolf Roegadyn skintones don't differ that much AT ALL from Duskwight Elezen. They both have shades of slate grey for skin, with a little bit of yellow and green mixed in at certain levels. You'll notice the difference a lot more probably when it comes to Hellsguard Roegadyn women.*sob*

Also I can tell the difference easily. She appears to have fairly long eyebrows, completely different hairstyle than that of the Elezen, and broader shoulders. She's also likely going to be much larger than that of an Elezen overall. Not to mention, she doesn't have big pointy ears. >_>

Which is perfectly natural. Feline as a species in general are pretty effeminate looking. (There are usually tale-tell signs that are there to know which is which, like a Lion and its mane, but Lehko could hardly be mistaken as a girl either.)
The tallest elezen should be taller than the tallest Roegadyn I believe by a tiny bit, It might even be hair on some models. So if she were a roeg she would stand taller than hume and miqotes period but maybe not taller than the tallest elezen female.
Well by larger I didn't mean taller. I meant.. literally larger in bulk. The Elezen are very skinny, almost stick people. She'll likely have a bit more meat on her bones. (Not as big as the Male Roe's, but larger than an Elezen)
Hopefully she will be in the begining cutscenes for LL's Company. It's my starting city-state and I will post the pictures![]()

Ahh I see, I agree the actually in game model of a female roeg should be beefier, Akihiko Yoshida has a very long lean style of art to the point where even Roegadyn's look skinnier than in game models.
