Seeing Leviathan for the first time!!

#95 Forgot to mention I was playing on a really old laptop when the game started and it couldn't play the cutscenes well even on the lowest settings (It constantly skipped from the bad computer and was blurry from the low settings). Once I got my new computer I watched the old scenes over again from the inn room since I wasn't able to see them before. Thats why my character has gear on that I obviously didn't start with, but even with that I still consider it my first time seeing Leviathan. ^^

This is from our first summer in Eorzea. We went out with our all Miqo'te linkshell, Nekogumi, for a bikini run on some ants in Eastern Thanlan. I was conjurer for the group, and you can sort of see my tail and name standing in front of Permata Merah. One of my favorite things about Final Fantasy XIV is being able to pick up with a group of friends and venture into the vast world. I'm really looking forward to exploring the entirely new world in 2.0 as well as the new memories and adventures (not to mention screenshots) that I'm sure I will have.

Back in the good ol' days full parties had 15 people! And we didn't have Chocobos, Goobues and Airships back then mind you, so everyone who wanted to get anywhere had to walk from the nearest Aetheryte and it was always uphill every which way!

Lots of folks in this picture are no longer with us unfortunately, hopefully some of them will pop back in for the final event.

My greatest memories in Eorzea come from the many thrilling battles, hard-fought achievements and last-second victories I've experienced. Defeating an enemy with only 10 hp remaining... finally getting that item I've wanted for so long... barely beating out the clock to complete a levequest... In fact, the first time I defeated Nael van Darnus it was with less than 8 seconds remaining! To me this picture captures the incredible rush and excitement of having it come down to the wire... and prevailing!
