TBH this whole thing could be improved a lot by using mobs lvl55 ish instead, with 10-20 times their normal HP.

Nope Yoshi said there be a reason to login and experience the last days, i dont see much of a reason that I cant just view in screenshots.

People keep saying your not supposed to win, there is nothing you can do. People spending hours to kill the mobs obviously say otherwise because if we couldn't win and wasn't supposed to, why can we win? lol Raven was ok, watched it on youtube, dont really feel like it was a finale.

This isn't a hopeless scenario, you could go and auto attack on the mob and not die for about 5 hours and eventually kill him, that isn't hopeless..

I expected more, and maybe more will come in the next few days, maybe I just need the trailer at the end of the Dalamud CGI to be satisfied, who knows but right now I dont get this whole "end of the world" feeling, I dont feel hopeless, i dont feel like there is a struggle, i dont feel like the world is going to ruins, I feel like I am in the same world I have been in for the past few months but now some angry OP mobs have been thrown in town for the "lols", maybe that is all there is to it, doesnt mean I cant say I am unhappy so far.

Like a movie, might be rubbish at start then kick in half way through and get epic near end, I will have to wait and see.

I'm so mad because I can't go to Mor Dhona to get good screenshots of view anymore. It's instant death whenever I teleport to Brittlebark or the Ravenaunt something camp. It was nice the other day. Less people around means less photo-bombing bastards and/or those who go AFK for eternity in places with good view. So now I have less people blocking my view and such. But in turn, it's not safe to thread in so many places and today I couldn't bring my friend to my favourite screenshot spots in Mor Dhona T.T

Try harder. Took me 2-3 tries but I've been to MD at least 5 times since last save craziness. You just have to walk/dodge/know when to run

yes its to end badly but the 12 won't return on their own volition. Yes it seems rather obscure and "pointless" to you but for the event it fits... I can't wait till like 3rd update they go okay all mobs are level 100 NM so like lvl 150 they all have AOE 9999 Damage that burns every 3 seconds and has a radius of the whole area so all die no matter what. yet people will still fight so the next update will be "Okay guys go pray to the stones"
People are so obstinant that Fighting must be the only content for a game, no other form of accomplishing a task.

I am not saying people shouldn't be fighting them but I think they have a quicker respawn timer expecially for the harder to kill mobs like the juggernaut. People can still do that, but I don't think that is what SE had in mind for us to do exactly right now...

OK ... Lots has happened since this post. However, no one has pointed out that everyone who failed to kill Raven cannot pray. This is game bias in the worst way. Just because you couldn't find a party that was strong and quick enough to kill raven... now you can't help save the world.

Anyone can /pray, it is an emote. You don't have to do the quest living on a prayer, you just need to pray at the mobs. Apparently. Balmung is too backwards to try it much
