PRAY THEM TO DEATH!!!

This is no longer going to work. According to the update praying at enemies will get the Twelve to smite you instead, but thankfully it seems they'll be toning down those mobs that take hours to kill.


Sargatanas figured it out first! Mass pray at the mobs and they will spontaneously die!! The Twelve are on our side!!

I've come to the determination, that while /pray does work SOME of the time, its usefulness is at the beck and call of the "higher powers". Your server may not work the same as others, as you may have a more or less merciful 'higher power' watching you. /pray killing mobs is not a game mechanic, but a 'blessing' you may or may not be able to achieve upon invoking the mercy of your 'higher power (GM)'.

Just as Sargatanas /danced a group to death, and some have auto-died for cursing the Twelve in other servers. There is no universal solution. I suggest /pray when the situation looks particularly dire, but do not under any circumstances, suggest refusing to fight.

Edit 2: Praying kills mobs less often now but still on a rare occasion. More often pray will give me buffs, like 10 minute quickstride, 5 minute attack up, and 5 minute accuracy up.
I theorize that prayer may also debuff mobs, but with so many attacking the mobs at once it is difficult to prove.

Edit 1: This appears to not ALWAYS work. I can not confirm if it is because of a lack of cooperative praying, a lack of players praying at the stones, or if it is merely done in phases in which only SOME mobs can be prayed to death.

It seems after "Imperial Guy" spawns, only the bixie adds can be prayed to death. After that, I have not successfully prayed anything to death, but everything gets killed easily enough without it so far.
