Um...
I've heard of faster combat pace, TP revamp, removing directions from combos, but i haven't seen any official wording about removing the actual animation lock from eg. using self-buffs.
Could someone post some solid evidence on this matter?
Please remove, amen; praise Jesus.
If you watch Producer Live Letter you can see Yoshi moving while using weaponskills.
edit: actually I think it was another video with battle gameplay where that was more obvious >.< can't remember which now.
They showed the character "Naoki Yoshida" doing what looked like Power Surge while moving Backwards in the Gamescom Video presentation.... while Squating, though![]()
What, you mean the early waaaaaayyy-pre-alpha stuff? Sorry, but that's hardly convincing.
Infact. I hope that that was cuz early stage of develpoment..
If by removing animation lock means sliding on the ground, while your character still *squat* it's not that good
visually speaking lol! .. Upper body / lower body movements should be separate to handle this well (same for ws as i have seen in videos.. sliding while using chaos trust.... ) . Well, i think we'll see how they handle animation lock / visually in future..
This is one of the things i personally want to see reworked. Im not saying have a particle effect fpr everything either. Just sethimg differet amd at least job specific. A monk channels energy differently than a blm for instance so id love to see some diversity here
Yeah, they looked just like the animation we have now (so NO separate upper/lower body) , but faster and without animation lock.. It looked pretty weird lol... I suppose separate upper/lower body wasn't implemented at that time.
