Trailer huh... that's disappointing. I thought maybe this was going to be something epic we could witness in-game before server-down, like an event or a cutscene. If this is just some youtube trailer.. I'm not staying up 'til Midnight for that :P I'd rather go to sleep and see it the next day.

A cut-scene is essentially the same exact thing as a video trailer. As cool as it would be to watch Dalamud topple Eorzea in game. It's simply not feasible with the technology they have. I doubt even the best MMO out there would be able to show that as a live event.

Well, they could have Dalamud get as extremely close till Midnight, then when midnight hit, You will watch the impact occur in a Trailer. That's just a theory.

That doesn't mean nothing will happen at or before the countdown, remember this wasn't really meant for us to know about this.

Unless they say free alpha keys for all those with surviving subscriptions. i dont know what else can be worthy of 1.0 keeping my attention until nov 1rst.
