No more complaining about seasonal events

Yes I created a new thread about this. People complained so much just because of the lack of info and tension was through the roof. Not that I wanted to create an entire discussion but now the ignorant may be enlightened by Yoshi-P himself.

The dev team is actually split up into a bunch of smaller teams, each dedicated to a certain facet of the game. Off the top of my head, there’s the scenario team, the world settings team (including seasonal events), the item team, the crafting and gathering team, the battle team, the level design team, the art team, the character team, the BG team, the UI team, and so on and so forth. Each team focuses on certain game content or a particular system, and all teams’ tasks are ongoing simultaneously. There are VFX, animation, and cutscenes as well, so quite a few teams. Within each, there are staff members whose job it is to carry out the tasks of each patch, and others who focus on the large-scale elements and core of the game.

So no more complaining about a holiday event taking up all the devs time.

Maybe they aren't so great at changing the coding with a battle system? maybe if said people started working on it they would just slow up the process or make it worst? I can come up with a lot more but you get the point. Since you don't know these people you do not know their area of expertise or what they lack. I'm sure Yoshi-P has the best possible people in their needed positions.

A MMO needs holidays to bring the world to life. There are also enough people that love the atmosphere and content that comes with it.

Holidays events work their own magic. I personally don't feel they're necessary. But many find the "value" in them. I still believe they are a waste of time.

There will always be people complaining about everything, it is NA way.

Trust me, they said their would be no Bells in this event... I put money on someone rage quitting because there are no bells at this holiday event.

As for it taking up the devs time, I doubt the holiday event team is that big.

I said you don't know their areas of expertise to say if they should be working on something else. Also, I didn't think I had to fully write out... In my honest opinion I think Yoshi-P is competent enough to put the right people in their right positions so the game can flourish.

However, what YOU feel about holiday events is not the issue nor is it why I made this thread. That's it for me though off to do other things. I didn't want to discuss since it was just a statement so people will stop complaining about holiday events taking up all the dev team time.
