Rare Ex (Endgame) recruiting for 2.0

Hey All,

Just so you know, we WILL and DO hold everyone here to a high standard. If you can't take constructive criticism, and you take everything personally, please don't waist your time.

Oh and another thing, this isn't a personality contest. ~~~ Skill > Personality ~~~ We are here to "get it done". Nothing else.

We're not the type of people that will continue to let one of our members fail over and over again to the point that it holds everyone including 'yourself' back. While some Leaders would like to be your best friend and tell you that your doing great while your not, we find that to be unfair, not only to the other members but to you as well. Just please keep in mind that you could possibly end up on either side of that scenario. ................. If you or someone else was not doing well, wouldn't you want someone to say something, so that you or the other member could try to make improvements? ....or should we not say anything at all and just continue to do the same thing over and over even though it isn't working.

I'm not really sure of Kai's past 100%. He will let you know if your not doing well. I have been one of these people on several occasions, but I don't take it personal. I just evaluate what I did and try to do it better or correct the next time.

This is all very true,but, there are plenty of ways to say when I'm doing miserably while still being completely honest, so no it's not about whether you tell me that I'm doing great while I'm not.

I'm really sure there are great LS members there. So not just one person defines the entire LS, but when said person is the one asking for recruitment and already has bad rep (with plenty of people, trust me), it does give out a bad image since he is speaking for the entire LS not to mention how he posted for recruitment. Would've been nicer if you were the first person to make the post about recruitment, and as Dargoth said, I too believe a pretty neat idea that you're trying to go for cross server recruitment, although seeing how the game is months away from re-launch it may be a bit too early, not that there's anything wrong with that.

And last but not least, it's not about keeping a grudge, that's not why I posted against him at all, it's about. It's about the fact that it seems this person hasn't changed his ways (his actions,the ways he treats people, etc.), making people not want to do content with -him-.Just saying that his post turned a lot of possible recruits off, even though you guys still got applications. Skills don't always matter more than personality. Get your pt in a very unpleasant mood, and people will stop enjoying the content. As you said you guys are here to get it done, but you can enjoy it while doing it as well.You can be hardcore and still have fun. But yea, I know, I know. Not every LS is for everyone.


tl;dr version: you shouldn't have let Kai be the OP in charge of recruitment, those who know him and had bad experiences won't bother, most of those who don't know him and read his post won't bother either, as you can tell by the replies. It's not just me.

Well considering I am the leader and built this shell I am going to be the one that post. I have a bad rep because I tell players when they are bad, and I actually kick players/reject apps unlike 95% of shells in this game. You have never played with me so for you to say all of these things is just ridiculous. To be honest your probably right that most "Casual" players view me as an elitest asshole because in all honest I don't much care what others think. I play games to win and get through content and while not everyone likes it, I get things done, as in the case of RareEx. I'm sure there are a lot of members that I have kicked from RareEx because they just simply weren't good enough, so they probably do hate me. Im not here to baby players and try to be best friends with them. I am great friends with most of all the people in my shell. Plain and simple, if your a good player and you come in, im sure we will get along great. If your a bad player, you will probably hate my guts along with most others in the linkshell, but in my opinion you shouldn't of applied if you weren't ready. You were just asking to be cut because you were trying to get into something that is way over your head.

If I turned possible applicants off then I probably didn't want them anyways. You skill doesn't always matter more than personality, maybe to you it does, but to me it doesn't. I would rather have someone cocky as hell but a great player than a decent player who is really cool and funny. I would rather play with a group of people I don't like as long as we are getting this done versus a bunch of my friends but we never get anything done. Our linkshell has a blast, we enjoy doing the content and everyone gets along great doing it. If you don't my attitude of winning then you won't like the attitude of my linkshell because that is what it is, but truthfully when you are clearing content at a very fast rate, running every single night you develop very good friendships along the way.

If you did then my post wouldn't of came off as cocky and you would understand why I didn't let my linkshell raise yours when you were our competition. Socials are friends, endgame is for content.
