As someone who's dedicated his time to fishing (and pretty much only fishing), this would be swell. My current goal of amassing 2000 Crimson Crayfish will be met soon and I'll need a new goal. A goal beyond, "Get 1000 more."

Glad to hear they are looking into all modes of transportation, i'm getting hopeful of chocobos again lol. But you didn't mention the sea animation, even if we have a new spiffy boat, kind of kills the sense of sea travel stuck in a bowel of jello.

Considering that the boat ride is instanced, it should be very easy (relatively speaking) for SE to make it interesting and more graphically interesting.
