More mount types in ARR please

When I think of a fantasy game like Skyrim the first thing that comes to mind as a mount are horses.

Can we please have some horse mounts in ARR? Not everyone has to be using a chocobo give us some variety.

I believe Yoshi-P mentioned in the Special Talk Session that they will be adding more mount variety to ARR.

It would be cool if the new Summoner class could summon an ethereal steed or something along those lines.

Why settle for a plain ol' horse when you can ride a horse bird instead‽


I do agree with Esk, though. A little variety in how our chocobo looks would go a long way. (Pimp My Chocobo!)

Like that has ever stoped FF developers from wiping their terrible existence from the universe asides from Odin. Seriously why anyone would want something as pedestrian as a horse is beyond me.
