Patch 1.17 Outline (04/12/2011)

You all should be expecting companies THIS PATCH (1.17!). Look at the dev tags on the lodestone post. 1002 Storylines and world quests and 1003 Public company quests

Uh...what should I be looking for here?

For some reason i think their will be a point system in Companies. Kinda like the Guild Leve system.

Do you guys think new gear = new crafting recipes for average gear or could it be these AF-like gear they said they would release as soon as they are ready?

I guess for the AF-like gear we have to wait for the update to the armory system :/ we still don't have defined roles so Af would be pointless.

But new crafting recipes are pretty nice too, the market is quite saturated right now :/ Ooooh I can't wait to try and find new recipes *-* crafting urge is coming back

Advance Wind. Those are the Dev tags so they will be in charge of Post regarding those events. So with logic, The content will be added in patch 1.17. Slao Yoshi said he will be giving INFO on Companies before patch 1.17 goes live.

I think it's far more likely that since 1.17 will be two patches, and this is the smaller of the two, that if companies were coming in this patch (and I'm not sure they are yet) it would be in 1.17b. I don't think that 1.17a is going to be considered patch 1.17 by itself. I wouldn't expect more info on companies until 1.17b. I don't know how any of you can let yourselves get excited expecting MORE than advertised by the dev team. I love the changes they're making, and I'm not complaining at all, but let's not forget who we're dealing with here.

I did believe in santa clause at one time.. Believing is fun. but i'm 50/50 if we'll actually see Company content in the patch. Easter is coming up so i'm not putting all my eggs in one basket.. Pardon the pun..lol

1.17 is 70% 1.17a is 30%

Classes haven't been changed yet, so it's not the AF gear.

Ya i also think no AF yet. that will be part of endgame content. That wont come out till after the Class reconstruction.
