Why do you keep saying this when we have been telling you time and time again that it's not as simple as asking them?

Because it IS as simple as that. You ask them, they say yes, or they say no, and t hat's the end of that. Yes, i have friends in the game. None of them are real life friends though. I'm not going to hang myself or have an emotional meltdown if one of them decides to go to a different server. I can make new friends, or we can keep in touch by making another character on the other's world. Ideally, they'll implement a game-wide friends list like XI had. I have several people on my XI friends list that changed worlds - This kind of thing happens even without regional servers - but we still talk. If your friends are close, they're most likely going to stick together. You also have the option of not moving at all, and staying on the world you're on now. In the long run though, more people will be happy for a higher quality game experience free of lag.

Or we could not have to ask them and they could manage a system akin to the one they've been using in that other MMO they've had for TEN YEARS. I've only played XI a handful of times but if there's one thing I haven't heard complaints of it's lag.

It would have to work in the long run regardless because the once the communities have been destroyed they'll reform anew. That doesn't make it fun or a smart decision on their part though.

I dont understand this argument going on.... the servers ARE Global.... its just the Data Centers won't be. There is a difference. I can be on whatever server I want.
