The second is easier... WHY? Why, of the difference between the toggle is purely aesthetic, even bother with a "toggle" at all?
1. The animation shouldn't have any effect on the control at all. It should be just a display over your hitbox where a new action replaces an old animation.
2. Very many games have toggles for graphics and physics settings. Advanced animation could be one of them.
