I played since launch, I quit when they started charging for a game that wasn't worth paying for, I came back when I thought it was worth my money. And I think in all my posts except for maybe the first, I've been pretty clear that I didn't think it was SE's fault or even said they mislead, this thread was started mainly because I was sick of doing homework and I ran out of beer, not cuz I wanted to flame SE. I have since acquired more beer. /happyface
eh, I just don't like the bad business behavior and am determined to get an apology and a rectification for those affected lol.I played since launch, I quit when they started charging for a game that wasn't worth paying for, I came back when I thought it was worth my money. Not being specific is problem of the company not to the users - this is how companies get away with bad deals (I don't know if SE intended this or not - but regardless it is still an issue (even accidently shooting someone is still a problem lol)). Also apologizing isnt hard to do for a normal human, for people that think they shouldn't because it was a gift are the people who don't apologize for accidently hitting their friend in the head with their car door. And car doors hurt >.> lol
On other news, cheers mate! Whats your drink of choice?
There's nothing "underhanded" about any of this. The requirements posted were clear. When they were amended, they were made clear. Nobody has anyone to blame but themselves for missing out on it. They have nothing to fix, and no apology to make.

Read it clearly. As you are factually incorrect.
There is no amend there. None.
To be fair the requirements are not that clear.
Also Shougun, I'm drinking an I.P.A. that my co-worker home brewed. It's fantastic.
Since I've been playing since beta 2010...I long got legacy a long time ago so I am not bitter or complaining etc. However I do agree with some posts on this thread...SE should have posted a very clear timeline with exact dates and times that legacy will end back when they announced it. Even if it was something like Must register by such and such date...is it that hard?
I understand their dates are up in the air and they are not certain but when doing stuff like this it makes it a lot easier on everyone if the dates are set in stone and are shared with everyone in a clear, concise matter. I am sooooo tired of people being confused and the tons of questions about legacy...which could be avoided. Lol SE gives me such a headache...ugggh.
I'm not usually so blunt but OP doesnt deserve legacy D:~
I'm guessing a lot more people than estimated have recently snapped up V1 or Resubbed and so they want to close the floodgates
^ What this guy said! When people didn't get something because they didn't make it in time is their own fault for one. Secondly, this program is mainly for the supporters of FFXIV, the people that got Legacy and just left well at least they did their homework, and SE was being nice about it to let "anyone" get Legacy if they did it within the time period. They told us soooo many times that June 30th was the last month to get Legacy anything after that is the consumers loss.
At this point, SE should really take down the Legacy off the Lodestone so people won't think it's still available
If you weren't here from the beginning and got Legacy that Awesome I am extremely happy for you. To those that didn't get it and had like 1 month to pay to get legacy was their fault for not playing in time to get the 3 full month paid.
Sorry if I sound rude, but the facts are there, its the consumers fault for not reading them.
