If you count 3 seconds with a stop watch, I could get off a whole steel cyclone combo in about 3 seconds, starting from the start of the first WS. Not all WS animations are 3+ seconds long, so your argument is invalid.
That's bs i'm playing war now and fkin about time steel Cyclone goes off Heavy swing is almost off its cool down(about2-3 secs left on timer) which is 10 seconds recast.
just got on war, and ok, it took longer than 3 seconds. i could move again after steel cyclone as soon as 5 seconds ticked on heavy swing. 5 divided by 3?
conclusion:
Alot less than 3 seconds per WS.

On the topic of Argument, I just think / hope that the "Global Cooldown" is not for All WSs, I mean, there has to be exceptions, like Job WS or 2Hr(15min) Ability, Abilities like Raise, Burst, Flare, Freeze, etc. However, before all that, I need to know more details on the Battle System(MP, TP, Abilities, exceptions, etc) so I won't comment anymore than this.

My LS mate one-shot Ifrit with Freeze (?) when I was still in the cutscene the second time we fought him. The first time they helped me, Ifrit instantly summoned Hellfire for no apparant reason, so everyone (including me) died; that was after the cutscene. Everyone from my LS (in the party) were like loldafuq? Lol. It was so funny (when we all got KOed).I really don't like how they are putting level caps on everything story progression wise and lower level dungeons.
The one guy said he didn't like it how people would do Ifrit and Ifrit was already dead before the cutscene. It was hard enough already to find 4 people to join.
This seems a lot like CoP which everyone seemed to hate the level cap zones and when a new player wanted help most people would not bother to help at all because they seemed to hate level caps. Eww I don't want to do that its capped. If I can't find people to do the story missions the solution was to out level it go back and do them.

you know why you have to follow a rotation? because you've got no time to think about your next move. that's a spamfest just because you have to line your skills in a fancy order doesn't make it any less true.
just when i thought SE's originality bar couldn't get any lower, they blatantly confirm it "We don't want to water down the primal so instead of using those other 50 Summons we have, We give you AION's Summoner"....not impressed at all
