I would have to say my favorite is "Rise of the White Raven" with "Imperium" close behind. Pretty epic songs if I do say so myself. :P
Where can I buy the Physical Disc? I don't buy from apple, I don't want to pay for lossy files.

I would really like this too. I may even take the money I have saved for Assassin's Creed 3 and spend it on a hard copy of this if it's ever released.

The full "disc" of Eorzean Frontiers is over 3 hours long...good luck burning that onto a CD that only has 70-80 minutes :P I just have the whole album on my iPhone with the added song Soken just released on the SE blog. If you want the CD collection, you'll have to buy the 4 CDs that make up the whole Eorzean Frontiers off iTunes. Tough luck not wanting to purchase from there, because that's where SE publishes all of their music on. I was lucky and found the original Japanese OST of FFX at a comic book store, so good luck finding a physical copy other than Amazon

Square is not exclusive to iTunes for their albums, they often sell CD collections but mainly in Japan. Often you have to import them from retailers that specific deals with international orders or buy directly from amazon.jp

Again if apple sold a lossless versions of tracks for proper archiving & CD burning I would buy this set immediately.

I can confirm with you that having music as AAC quality is nearly as good as lossless audio quality. As I've mentioned on this thread, I have a collection of music with nature sounds. With Bose headphones connecting to my iPhone (I put the AAC audio at 128kbps, which is the same as 256kbps for MP3), I can REALLY hear what is going on in the audio background. Like with the nature recordings, I can hear a ton of different birds and wildlife in the background of the target nature recordings you are supposed to hear along with the music; even listening to a thunderstorm recording sounds like you are outside in an actual one. But when I play music via iTunes on my desktop computer, I have 4 speakers situated around the basement so you can be immersed in audio for when music is playing. You wouldn't believe the audio quality; it's like a concert. I can't get the same effect when playing off Windows Media Player. I like it when I play FFXIV on the desktop with the speakers; it feels like you are actually in the game, too.

But yeah, just give iTunes a try. You don't even have to buy music or pay for it, just try to put your own music on there. My only gripe about iTunes is that when you have music playing continuously on there, it eats up the memory (on my laptop it does, not on the desktop for some reason). I wouldn't go back to using the MP3 format after using AAC.

Oh, and iTunes music isn't DRM protected anymore. It hasn't been for several years now.

Oh you can clearly hear the imperfections with the format iTunes use with the proper equipment.
Run your files through a good external DAC to a tube amp to a quality set of headphones, in my case the Beyerdynamic DT 990 or T1 600ohm.

You will then see lossy isn't as good as the original disc, vinyl or lossless file.
