I thought it was a good article as well, and I'm happy to see the gaming media giving FFXIV some attention. Yoshi-P and company face a long, uphill battle redefining Final Fantasy XIV, and every little step counts.

I hope that when A Realm Reborn finally hits, gaming websites will be willing to give it a completely new review. Not an update to a previous score, but a new review altogether. It may still be called Final Fantasy XIV, but it's a different game, and it deserves a fair shake.

My comment was based on the Article when they said 7 was the last " Great FF game" before they went down hill, when 8/9/10/12 were all very good games 9 and 12 being my favorites, were very awesome games FFX got me into FF =).

Honestly I don't think you're in the minority. Everyone I have spoken to is generally a big fan of that game. In terms of FF it's generally the minority that's the loudest.

XII is an awesome game to me.. but I am the Minority :P
