They're not affecting anyone else's gameplay. SE has to abide by they're own rules, and if they're not breaking the Terms of Service, then there isn't much SE can do accept keep an eye on them. Until they start with tells advertising their Web site there's no bannable offense here.

But aren't they using third party software to automate the characters into accepting the quests and what-have-you? I'm sure that's against the ToS, right?

Then again, I have never done botting or RMT, so I don't know what I'm talking about. But for one character to be doing the work of many, I'd say there were some shenanigans going on.

Ultimately SE reserved the right to ban someone for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

But it's in their best interest to play the good cop and do things by the books. That said, there's no way for SE to know if they're using a third-party program unless it affects in-game movement.

With so many of these drecks on the screen moving about or just standing there, they cause my game to free and crash. So yes they do affect gameplay for the time being.

Anywho, they've also pretty much permanently occupied the zombie spot down in Copperbell as well. Prevents people from PLing and doing that one quest.

Actually I get no lag whatsoever in Ul'dah. My laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce 555M GT with 3GB of RAM on the card. It's only near and around Cedarwood that I get immense lag and crashes at.

That makes no sense its wayyyy more stuff in uldah to lag you but RMT do?

I have no lag whatsoever in Ul'dah. None. It's just Cedarwood because of all the RMTs cluttered close together and there are some lead RMT players moving around and summoning those monsters from the Faction Leve. My graphics card can handle Ul'dah because of the RAM.

Clearly you've never tried to level at Natalan wolf camp on Gungnir server. There's a Chinese RMT there who will MPK any party that tries to level or spiritbond there. (S/He's cursed us in /sh and /s in Pinyin and talk about how s/he doesn't speak English.)

Also need to second Naraku. The huge influx of characters have definitely caused me to lag out and crash the game when I pass Cedarwood by chocobo or when I'm trying to get leves from Limsa.
