Well, if that's the case, it's nice they give us a warning. However, it is not enough, we need more things like that.
Thank you very much for your reply.
I wonder if this thread as been translated and given to the devs?
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)

The mobs fleeing was a issue that all mobs had a small zone so when you took them away they just run back and re-pop and regain full hp. So to this fix issue they made there pop zone bigger and made mobs be more closers to each other and added more.
In FFXI there was a elvaan who would out to the outpost and to the last npc before the zone and walk back reporting there was noting to report. That something i like to see in FFXIV.
Also can we please take away all the dumb ports in FFXIV? i mean there one in each spot on the mob do we really need that many outpost? can we make it so level 1 leves are with the rank 10 leves? maybe that would cut down many teleport spam and allow noob players and pretty high players to help each other out.

Wow, I really love this idea. It totally worked in games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Harvest Moon. It gave night and day such a vastly different ambience in those games. I remember Brave Fencer Musashi for PSone had a softer lullaby-like theme for the town, which could be an idea for when travelling inside cities during the night. I really hope they use your idea.![]()
Got some great ideas goin on this thread so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. I really like the idea of roaming mobs, whether it be alone or in packs. However, I would LOVE to see some epic roaming monsters. There couldn't be too many of these, but I really want to see at least one. My vision would be an enormous epic dragon. The dragon would not just roam around a specific zone, but ALL of Ezorea. I just think it would be amazing to see this legendary creature flying through the skies. And if you are actually lucky enough to see this thing land... it's like AHHHMAAHGAWDD O.O /l <t> FOUND IT!!! Obviously this would be end game content that would take a well organized HNMLS to defeat. However, the rarity of finding this NM + it's difficulty would just make it amazing achievement and I believe it would really help in bringing Ezorea to life ^^

Ooh, that opens up the possibility of dragon tracking parties or scouts, I like it! Just imagining a giant dragon periodically flying through the skies dwarfing those airships is making me excited. ^^Got some great ideas goin on this thread so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. Yeah, this is a pretty amazing idea and the bold part is just how i would like this happens.Got some great ideas goin on this thread so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. In the same way, we could scout also a giant creature in the sea when wee see the ocean horizon or when we are on ferry. The world need to have all sort of random 'events' everywhere and everytime.
I think they should develop a greater ecology of monsters. Make them less static. Give them more behavious (migrations, motives, personalities). For example, marmots should run around collecting food, flee from aggressive mobs, and perform courtship dances with other marmots. Beastmen tribes should wander in groups between their outposts, laying waste to any players that get in their way. Everything should have a motive and change dynamically depending on their interactions with players and the environment. Nothing should be a fixed variable.

Poor guy never had anything to report xD

Forgot to add...i love the idea of world being more "alive" and dynamic.

I like the idea of using all the little things to make the world more "alive".Trying to shoehorn "immersion" to some specific aspect is foolish.
Some of us don't really care much for "alive" world as far as NPC's and other non-player activities go. They would rather see the game made more alive by creating environments in which players can interact with each other easily, making the world "alive" in that way.
How downside would there be? :S
simple fact. wolves should kill rabbits every now and than. now we have agresive monsters and flyffy bunnyrabbitsquirelyfoxes living in pace
