Melded Gear in 2.0

Just concerned. Would be upsetting if you spent millions of gil on a triple melded piece for it to not as useful 1 month later.

As far as I know, your concerns are unfounded. I haven't read anything that stated that melded gear would change in any way. I'd certainly be more than a little off-put if it did. I spend TONS of time in-game going after melded items. I just got two triple melds in a row on some Cobalt Cuirasses on Sat, for example.

Great job Molly and grats on the gear. Like I mentioned earlier I finally jumped into the melded gear sphere after getting shredded by Garuda and doing crap DPS in my full AF compared to other members who were really outputting more (with better gear obviously). Might call it quits if all that gil went poof. Worst case scenario, if they did say something like that, people could stop 'wasting' their time or gil on producing these pieces of gear.

in the post linked above, it does sound like stuff is getting adjusted, but in a balanced way. the gear you bought will still be good.

Nothing quite worthy of that thread yet. I don't have any quadruples, but I do have a full set of triples with some double melded sentinel's gear thrown in for good measure.

Once I get two complete sets of triples (one for WAR and one for PLD) I'll start on quads.
