Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn HD Vid (Saturday)

In Hall 7 of the exhibition center Yoshida Naoki, producer of Final Fantasy XIV, showed us the worldwide first gameplay material of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. JPGames.de was at the center of it all and brought you one of the first recordings of this world exclusive gameplay. Thanks to technical difficulties amidst the chaos of the crowd of visitors we were forced to record the presentation and with it the gameplay in poor, shaky quality.

Angry with ourselves we decided to go out of our way (and on top of our weekend! ) to visit the exhibition once more to do everything better!

Maybe you won't see nothing new, but i just wanted to redeem myself

I always get my hopes up when I see "A Realm Reborn video (HD)" and it's just another cam version...only not 480p. :c

You won't see what you expect for a while... Presskit doesn't have gameplay vids in it, so the only way was to film everything - i guess that's better marketing then to just show the good stuff right away.

So much background noise going on there. But it still the next best ting to being there ourselves.

Sounds like Titan is the next primal on the drawing board, followed by Shiva and Ramuh.

The commentary confirmed inclusion of the Juggernauts from FF6, the Crystal Tower from FF3 and some sort of zone from FF7 (couldn't properly interpret it - might have been planet's core?).

Alpha in Autumn followed by Beta in Winter for PC and PS3.

I so wanted a t-shirt.. but getting one was just as bad as the drop rate of this game never lucky at those things haha.. nevertheless, it was a very cool presentation, hope it does good.

I think the FF7 zone is supposed to be Gold Saucer.

Yes it was capcom.. any they are anoying often in many places.

That color saturation in this vid wasn't good but it hard to record off a screen.

At least they should the limit break Link ability, Meteor channeled into the BLM by all the party members.

I may have missed someone doing so, but I am surprised I haven't seen anyone mentioned the lack of blinking each time armor is equipped. The pieces just appear on the avatar. With all of the bitching that went on in the beginning of 1.0 about that, I would have thought there'd be more praise for it's absence.
