Well in the HD video the graphics look so much better. Its not lower quality like the graphics we have now. i think its really good indeed.


and... there are no characters popping 1 meter in front of you (which i think is really really bad in the current version)

This *is* still FFXIV..... right?

By the twelve, it looks like a completely different game.... in a very, very good way. Who'd have thought the Black Shroud could look so open?

Better yet, we're only seeing a small area of one zone of one region and it's amazing to see. I can't take in enough of it. Then I stop and remember "oh yeah, there's an *entire* surrounding area to Black Shroud.. not to mention all the other zones. As well as any new ones that might be added on for ARR. I have a feeling I'm going to be spending the first week just exploring and looking around.

I love the animation at around 17 minutes of the Moogle struggling to carry the mail bag. Nice touch! Speaking of moogles, I notice they're much more "present" in ARR. I can kinda guess how the turn of events led them from being elusive critters to being more "out in public"... but still. Just seeing them out in the open like that makes it feel a lot more "FF" to me. Just that one little thing.
