Since Jumping is confirmed, can we fall off a cliff, take damage, etc?

We don't plan on allowing players to jump from very high places where the height of the fall would cause damage. However, jumping from the places where you are able to will not inflict any damage. As for mounts being able to jump, I'm sure you've seen the new screenshots that show the party of adventurers jumping about while on chocobos!

Now I'm wondering.... Will Goobbues jump? >.>
